Welcome to The Shed, our special collection featuring quality custom speaker cables that may include imported materials or represent overstock opportunities. While distinct from our flagship audiophile USA-made audio cables, these are selected to offer excellent value and unique options for discerning audiophiles and enthusiasts.

The Shed Series isn’t only our first product line, it is a glimpse into the future of American HiFidelity. We're proudly using American sourced wire, cotton, handcrafted wooden risers. We carefully selected imported connectors while we perfect our custom-made, 100% American connectors arriving this fall. We believe in transparency, craftsmanship, and continuous innovation. We are determined to create the best audio cables USA can produce. We have experimented and tested with many different conductor & insulation combinations. This process has provided us with an abundance of high quality material that we want to pass on to you.

I still remember the thunk my heart made when that first spool hit the workbench. The label looked like it had been dipped in patriotism, stars, stripes, big bold USA Flag. “Designed in USA” Perfect, right? Two coffee fueled hours later I finally spotted the fine print hiding under the pallet tape: “Country of origin: China.”

Cue the record scratch. I did the only reasonable thing any red-blooded audio nerd would do, I pulled on one copper strand like a loose sweater thread and kept tugging until the whole marketing illusion unraveled. A quick phone call confirmed my nightmare: the wire’s drawn, stranded, and jacketed 7,000 miles away, then shipped here so we can, what, screw on a fancy connector and call it “American”? Hard pass.

The irony? That detour is exactly why the Shed Series exists. Every limited-run cable you see here started life as a lesson like this, prototype batches, overruns, or unilateral pivots when we spot a hidden asterisk. They’re still hand-finished, still warrantied, just wearing a few honest scuffs from the journey. Because integrity should be louder than any marketing label and if that means rewinding the reel and starting over, well, crank up the drill press. America’s calling.

Expect to find interesting combinations, limited runs, research & development prototypes and components that meet our high standards for performance and build quality, even if they don't carry the "100% USA Made" designation of our core collections.

Note: Speaker Cables in "The Shed" are still hand assembled here in USA. Like all our cables, each is individually serialized and tested. Customizations including adding risers are available upon request. Don’t see what you’re looking for, just ask!
