I am not going to debate whether or not American HiFidelity Co.’s speaker cable risers will improve your sound quality. There are far too many variables in play, and every room is its own acoustic zoo. I built these integrated risers because my carpeted listening den was a static-electricity factory. By hoisting the cable a couple inches stopped the zap without ever touching the signal path. Worst-case? You get a handcrafted, furniture-grade accent that makes your setup look like it belongs on the cover of Stereophile. Best case? You’ll swear the background got a shade blacker and the music stepped forward. Add them to your American HiFidelity cable and let your own ears (and eyeballs) decide.
